[Colorado] From COBRA to Medicaid & Wegovy

The short version:

Should I ask someone to loan me $800 to keep my Cobra covering my August Wegovy since it would be cheaper? Additional funds from my pension are coming in 45ish days. As a single, no kid, what's the max I can earn on Medicaid?

Recently qualified for Colorado's Medicaid (Health First Colorado)

Single, no kids, 55;

I'm unemployed with meager savings. I was trying to ask questions on Friday, but they closed early. Friday was the day I found out I qualified.

In August, I was covered by Cobra via Anthem BCBS. The last date for payment is Saturday, Aug 31—$ 800 payment.

I had quite a lot of medical bills and very little OOP for me:

Regular generic rx (almost free) Wegovy $25 (after coupon and 10% copay) Gynecological surgery: IUD & polyp removal; D&C (doc recommends hysterectomy) 100% paid Colonoscopy (100% paid)

If I don't pay on Saturday, Medicaid kicks in for retroactive coverage. All my doctors are in the plan. Based on the plan documents, I would pay tiny copays or nothing for most items.

My problem is Wegovy, which is almost $1400. When the coverage gets reversed, will Amazon want the whole amount back? Will they try to take it from my empty debit card?

I hope to be on Medicaid for a very short time. I may get unemployment compensation weekly, costing almost $800 per week (using round numbers). Plus, I'm waiting to hear about 3 jobs next week. I'm not sure if UIC would put me over the top, negating my Medicaid Coverage.
