OK to preface the whole family has the same insurance same plan same coverage same everything. We have been going to the doctor since we were kids. It’s medicaid insurance if that helps.

We just got a call today from a clinic that we went to that is known for its shady practices but it’s the only one we can go to. Anyways, we have two appointments that we went to and the bill came out to like $800 doesn’t seem like much but we don’t have a lot of money. We tell them to bill the insurance. At first they claimed that they billed both of them and that both covered $50. We informed them that we only have one insurance and that it covers everything and this we are certain of we’ve looked through the plan. We’ve contacted our plan and everything they cover the whole entire visit. Today we got a phone call and now that doctor is claiming that they don’t take that insurance despite their sister not even a month ago going there with the same insurance. They are absolutely blowing up our phone trying to get us to pay when we’ve told him multiple times to bill the insurance and they completely ignore it and call back two days later multiple times and now they’re using multiple different phone numbers so we don’t know which ones actually them and what something else that’s important. Where do I go from here? Do I contact my insurance company and let them know what they’re doing? Do we just keep telling them to bill the insurance like they were supposed to do? Do we go up there and tell them to print out the bill and what was supposedly wasn’t covered? How do I even figure out if they actually billed them like they were supposed to? I’m so lost.
