Hi all. Looking for advice. I am having bypass surgery next month. The prior authorization was approved, but it says it is out of network. This is not correct. The facility and doctor are 100% in network. When I call Cigna the reps always confirm it is in network. Then when I try to get the authorization fixed, the individuals in that department say it is showing out of network. I don’t know how this could be.

I have called and done the online chat about 10 times now. The last rep I spoke to ( I screen shot the online chat), told me that they were in touch with the prior authorization department and that they were going to fix my authorization to say in network. I was so excited they were actually going to fix the mistake. Well I just looked and the person just sent the same exact letter as before saying out of network.

My insurance covers this procedure 100% in network. I really want this issue fixed. Any advice?
