Cigna Core HSA EPO — risky or worth it?

Has anyone here been on a Cigna high deductible EPO plan? I’m curious what you’ve ended up paying for out of pocket if your typical doctor needs only include routine visits to primary care, gynecologist, etc. I currently have a zero-deductible EPO and a really robust hospital system in my town so I don’t really care about having out of network benefits, but I am worried about potentially dropping a shit load of money on things I don’t even know I’ll be paying for that I’m not used to paying for on my current plan. (Generally I only pay a $50 copay when I go to the doctor for anything).

Are you paying a lot out of pocket just to see routine doctors? Is it worth it to have the HSA?

Right now I’m looking at a plan that breaks down like this:

Premium – $248

Deductible – $5000

Coinsurance – 100%

Out of pocket max = $6350

Office visit – primary care = 100%

Office visit – specialist = 100%

Labs = “deductible”

ER = 100%

Urgent Care = Deductible
