Can I fight what a non-finalized divorce decree says about my soon to be ex-wife being the insurance provider for our son?

I am currently in the middle of getting a divorce. We have a young son and reside in Arkansas. In the divorce decree, which was paid for by her father as the divorce was her idea initially, it states that she is to provide insurance for him as her job provided the better insurance when we first filed in December 2023.

I recently started a new job and have been provided with insurance that will give him the same coverage for cheaper. We split the insurance costs for him so it would be a positive for both of us.

She, however, does not want him to be on my insurance as it is a control thing for her. I am not only trying to save us both money, but also do right by my child.

Her lawyer did not file on time two times in a row so what was supposed to be finished in May, is now pushed all the way to August.

The court date to finalize the divorce is next Thursday, 8/8/24, though there is also the usual month grace period afterwards. Is there anything I can do to adjust this part of the decree without getting crazy on the legal side of things? And without halting the divorce any more than it has been? I just want what is best for my son and cannot seem to get through to her.

Thank you.
