Can existing marketplace plan ever be used in new state if in-network there?

Okay here’s the situation I cannot get answers to thus far:

Myself + daughter currently under EPO plan (Ambetter Superior Health) via TX marketplace application. We have to move across country to WA. However, to my surprise, our current EPO plan is widely in-network all over our new WA city.

So, can we continue using this plan at all in WA? If all these providers are in network (I’ve confirmed), I don’t understand why not?

My confusion is that I know WA has their own independent marketplace system. I looked and those plans all essentially suck financially/benefits compared to our current healthcare.gov EPO plan from TX application. So if WA has their own internal marketplace you’re supposed to use, why would this out-of-state acquired EPO plan be in-network anywhere in WA to begin with??

Do I still have to report a move, qualify for special enrollment period, and only go through the state we are moving to (WA) for a new plan? The way I understand it, our current exact plan does not technically exist in WA’s own state marketplace (if I was to apply through there). So I’m still stuck on why our out-of-state acquired plan is in-network for WA then, if you are required to report a move and change plans regardless. And also what would happen if we do actually receive care in WA from a provider that is in-network on this plan without switching.

Hope that makes sense. If anyone has advice I appreciate it!
