California-Primary UHC and secondary Kaiser

My question is: aside from cost, are there any potential complications from having the insurances in the title?

Some backstory… my situation is a bit unique. I work at a Kaiser facility but I am not employed through them. I have UHC because that’s what my employer offers, I do not want to have Kaiser long term but I think it would be beneficial to have Kaiser as a secondary insurance. I know they won’t cover each other, that’s not what I’m looking for. It’s for emergency situations where I need to go to the hospital near my job and can’t go to another one. The other day I was in the ER (Kaiser) because I wasn’t able to make it to another hospital but of course I will have to pay for it because I’m not a member.

It would only be for me to use when I absolutely have to. I still prefer my primary insurance and healthcare team, but it’s hard when I need emergency care at work but don’t have their insurance.

Edit to add: I’m a female in my early 30s single, no kids
