(CA) not sure what to do next with medi-cal.

North cal, 30F, around 1200 monthly income (every month is different but never higher than 1500)

So I moved back to the states in April from Asia. I thought I qualify for coveredca, but long story short, I don’t because I did not have a job. Ended up signing up for medi-cal in June. I got a part time job end of june. Notified them that the income is still low enough. They didn’t say anything until sept. I uploaded some payslips to prove that. Now I just got a letter saying I qualify for coveredca and they have already disqualified me from medi-cal. Here is my question:

my income was higher in the month from June to sept because of the training period. I got more hours and now I’m only earning half. I do not think I qualify for coveredca. But I do want to change to coveredca, is it ok to just go ahead and switch? Will I get in trouble?

I was gonna purchase Kaiser private insurance for next year. But now with this, if I do the above, can I just change back into medi-cal next year (I’m planning to quit my job by the end of this year) and continue with Kaiser? I know I just need to have record of using Kaiser in past few years in order to have Kaiser accepting medi-cal.

Side note: I’m looking for full time jobs with benefits. Just no luck so far. I have medical conditions and I really want to see Kaiser doctors.
