Birthday rule for newborns & medicare/medicaid

I (the mother) am having a child with my fiance, whom I live with in the state of Ohio. We are having a child sometime in early January 2025, we're both first time parents. I am disabled and have medicare with a QMB medicaid plan to cover the other 20% that medicare doesn't cover. He has private insurance through his employer. We currently do not combine our finances.

I have read that our baby will initially be on the Mother's insurance for the first 30 days, then will go on the father's insurance as primary and mine as secondary due to the birthday rule? (his bday is Feb, mine is later in the year) How does this work in my case?

I have been nervous to resubmit my application for medicaid as a pregnant woman as I fear I will lose access to certain meds that are covered under my current policy. I will struggle to function without these meds. Do I need to notify them once the baby is here and she is a dependent? Since I live with my fiance, will I lose medicaid access even though we do not share an income but do share a dependent? I understand that once we're married later in 2025, I will lose the medicaid all together but keep medicare & pay premiums etc. I plan to use his insurance as my secondary once married.

Sorry I know that was all very confusing, but please ask questions if needed. Thank you.
