Billed for therapy, despite being told my insurance would cover everything.

Context: This summer I started attending therapy sessions. I found a therapist online and contacted her to see how I could start attending. And so, I submitted my health insurance information through a portal and she told me that my insurance completely covers the cost of the sessions (0 copay and deductible). Great! Afterwards, I began attending sessions weekly under the assumption that the cost would be covered. Fast forward 2 months later, I get a bill for around 800 dollars. As it turned out, when my therapist's billing person called the insurance number, the intern over the phone provided the wrong information which is why my therapist told me that the sessions were completely covered. I find a few things weird about this however since wouldn't the billing person know that I was OON despite the intern giving wrong details?

What can I do in this situation and is there anyway I can dispute the charges because of this? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
