Bill help

Hello,

My son had a hospital visit las year(2020) in July to fix his teeth with a dentist, everything was organized by the dentist office with the hospital. I paid the dentist in advance and the hospital sent me the remain invoice around September 2022 and I paid that one as soon as I got it. By October I was still missing the anesthesiologist bill, I contacted the dentist and they told me to talk to the hospital, I left messages in the hospital but not luck. Around the end of October I got the EOB online ( I have united healthcare)and my portion to pay but still no information to who to pay to, I contacted united healthcare yo try to find where I send my balance and they didn't know but the lady told me that she sees and option to pay through the portal with a 3rd party called instant med that I used before for previous bills. I went online and a form appear to put only my name and credit card , the rest of the information was already pre-filled and I paid. That was November, in December I received an invoice from the anesthesia company claiming the money that I already paid through instant med, I contacted instant med and they told me that the anesthesia company processed the payment in December 12th, 2022. I called, emailed, faxed all the proof of payment and all the time they tell me that they need to check because they cannot locate the money( I got a new invoice this week again). I don't know what else to do, the third party told me that the anesthesiology receved the payment and every time that I call for an update they tell me to give them one more month but they keep sending me a new invoice. Would be a good idea to talk to my bank to get the money back and pay the anesthesiology place in another way?
