Beware of TVP Health/First Health Network Vitamin Patch Plan – Potential Scam Alert!-Ditto
Similar experience with this company/product. 6/11/24 while sopping for health insurance on the Healthcare Marketplace, I get rep who quotes me a plan, states it is an Aetna plan and I agree to it. Wasn't able to look at it in depth until 6/24. The I noticed not only is it not a major medical, it is not an Aetna plan, they also tacked on a $49 monthly Allstate ID protection plan.
I emailed and called Customer service for Preferred Health Agency dba Preferred Health Insurance Agency (800) 208-1429. They apologized for the misrepresentation, and agreed to process my cancelation and refund. Had to be transferred 2 more times to Cancelation Processing, who tried to talk me into talking with another rep about coverage 2 x despite me telling him that since your company lied in the first transaction, I'm not interested in dealing with you going forward.
Finally they said the cancelation would take 72 hours and the refund to my credit card would take 7-10 business days. An email was received today noting that they'd applied a refund of $448.99 to my credit card. However when I checked the card, it was not a refund but an additional charge for the $448.99.
I will be contacting my card issuer and filing a fraud dispute. Run from this company and tell many
