Best plan for futur pregnancy; Massachusetts;J2 visa

TLTR ; I am seeking advice on best insurance plan having in mind near futur pregnancy (not pregnant yet) Want everything covered, also considering potential complications.

Hi there, I have been browsing and did not find answers on the topic considering specification (visa, Massachusetts, etc)

We arrive from France to Boston in November with my husband. He is on a J1 visa I am on a J2.

We want to have our first children in the next year. I am overwhelmed by the choices and the vocabs (I did find some resources to help with vocab’s) in finding an insurance. The Mass health connector is so difficult to compare insurances on.

Being from France where I will continue to pay for healthcare locally I will get all non urgent care there (visions, dental, etc). But all pregnancy related care will be done in the US.

Very afraid of the total cost of a pregnancy and even having to pay 10% copayments.

Background : I think our revenu will be too high to be eligible for state plan (don’t even think that’s possible considering visa) I’ll be just over 30yo, same for husband. My husband will start a 2 years research fellowship in an hospital in Boston (don’t know if that’s relevant).

Here are my questions : 1) any recommandation of specific plan ? 2) lots of insurances have « pre authorization », which I have diffilculty understanding what could be considered in agreeing to take it in charge or not? 3) Sometime there is a waiting period, but I don’t know if this is before getting pregnant or delivery. 4) any idea what could be the total price of a in Massachusetts- worst case scenario? I am seeing different info online.
