Appreciate any thoughts for my confusion!

Hey everyone! Just moved internationally and looking to understand healthcare system which is a lil confusing lol.

Basically I have a few options with blue shield of california network from my employer :

1) EPO with 80 a month deducted from salary. No deductible and 1600 OOP max. Copay for visits and surgeries appear to be up to $110. Can be paired with FSA 2) PPO with 60 a month deducted from salary. 500 deductible with 2200 OOP in network, higher for out of network. Visits appear to be up to 10% coinsurance. Can be paired with FSA 3) HDHP with $0 deducted from salary. 1800 deductible and 3600 OOP in network, higher for out of network. Visits appear to be up to 10% coinsurance. Can be paired with HSA (with employer contribution)

If I'm correct: 1) HDHP is the best option to reduce impact on my budget now but not very medical expense friendly if sth occurs. Opposite goes for EPO (e.g. I wanted to prioitise out of pocket costs for surgeries) in the sense it reduces OOP costs 2) Its always best to pop some funds in a FSA or HSA to meet deductibles? Still iffy on how FSAs and HSAs work with the above EPOs and PPos

Appreciate any clarifications on this, thank you!
