Another question about Anthem/MSKCC

I have Medicare and CareFirst Blue Cross Blue as my Medigap policy. I got a letter from MSKCC saying their contract with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield is going to end. I've called the phone number on my BCBS card and they said Anthem is different than BCBS, but when I look it up on the internet, it says they're the same. I also asked MSK and they said they're different, but again, everything I've read on the internet says they're the same, that Anthem = BCBS.

I also asked if this contract dispute affects Medigap policies, or only those where it's the primary insurance. I was told by both BCBS and by MSK that it doesn't affect Medigap. But again, everything on the internet (not social media, but articles) says that it does.

I have two cancers and go to MSK a lot. It would cost me a fortune to lose my Medigap policy.

Does anyone have any information that can help out, or sources where i can find actual information?
