Anesthesia provider was not "tier 1"- insurance did not make a payment and it went all to my deductible. Anything I can do?

I have UHC. Had surgery about a month ago. The OBGYN who performed the surgery was a "tier 1" provider and the hospital was a "tier 1" facility. I paid a $100 copay for the surgery and $400+ in surgery fees to my provider at his office. I received a bill in the mail today for $700+ dollars from two anesthesia providers. The 2 anesthesia providers were in network, but "tier 2" so they were NOT covered by a $100 copay. The payment for tier 2 anesthesia providers is a 30% coins AFTER my deductible is met. I have not met my deductible yet. I did not have a choice in my anesthesia provider. I called my insurance company and they would not budge, the rep said if they were completely out of network they could negotiate but since they were, there's nothing I can do. I pressed further and she directed me to file an appeal/grievance. Is there really nothing I can do in this situation? Thanks for any help!
