Ambetter Health helping themselves to my money without me knowing.

I had an emergency debit card from a bunch of work I did in a factory 5 months ago. During that time I was seeking Health Coverage and was going through the Health Market place to enroll and was moments away from enrolling into a plan with Ambetter Health. I got to the point where I was entering in my debit card info and was making my first payment to enroll me in. But I decided to back out and just go without health insurance until I find a way to get back on Medicaid as I was before. My first payment didn’t go through and I received my $ back into my account. Now 5 months later, I’ve been back on Medicaid for a few months now and was laid off from the factory and was saving the debit card for absolute emergencies. Well an emergency arose and I went to check the account where upon my surprise it was empty! I should have $300 or so in there so I was stunned. I look back at my statements to see that once a month for 5 months Ambetter Health has just been taking $59.00 without my approval. I was not getting any updates or emails or paper mail regarding this! So I call Ambetter and come to find out that I have been Auto-enrolled into their Health Program but I could not cancel because it was enrolled by then and they didn’t have my Debit Card info. I had to call the Health Market Place and cancel with them as apparently they decided to just automatically enroll me in this Health Coverage after that first attempt 5 months ago where I didn’t follow through. They cancelled it on their end and now I try to figure out how to get my money back from Ambetter. I never went to the Doctors although I desperately needed to and should have on many occasions, I have denture problems, the whole nine yards but roughed it out until I got back on Medicaid. Trying to communicate with the Agents at Ambetter is a mission in of itself and a headache trying to figure out the English over their strong Indian Accents. I filed with them a cancellation that won’t take place for another month! And they told me all I can do is request a refund from the most current month since I didn’t use their services but all prior months are already too late and I’ll only receive a $35 refund for this month. Now I finally receive my first notice of a bill in the mail a week later stating that I owe $59 before the end of this month and that they are trying to still get my money! What can I do about trying to obtain my $ or is it just a lost cause and more stress just trying to communicate with various Indian agents over the phone that get me know where…
