Affordable health insurance option in California

Hello all,

I'm looking for a health insurance plan, preferably with out-of-pocket options. I understand this is a tricky issue since i am paying for it from my own pocket and not by employer benefits program . Long story short the reason this is bit tricky because i have 2 people in the household both not working currently and 1 person is receiving Medi-Call health Benefit and unemployment benefits that stopped after 26 weeks. Since 2nd person in the house hold is unemployed and never worked in the US and barley become permanent resident and in process of getting social security card and driver license and other documents. Since this bit of an immigrations issue as well i don't know if they eligible for Medi-Call for now. So i have been looking for something like Obama Care for out of pockets plans. Let say the total income for this year 2024 is about less then 30 thousand dollars. The state is CA and age is about 44.

I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start. I've seen websites like HealthForCalifornia, ObamacarePlans, and Healthcare.gov, but I'm not sure which one to use. Does anyone know the best way to start looking for health insurance?

Please advise.

Thank you very much!
