Advice for Picking Health Insurance Plan for First Time

Hi there,

26F, 30k-35k annually, based in NC

I recently turned 26 and the insurance I have under my parents is running out soon. I have been doing my best to research everything I can learn about healthcare as I basically knew nothing about it. I am using the healthcare.gov site in order to preview plans and find answers to my questions.

I am not on any medications at this time, and mainly go in for the annual visits. I do have a therapist that I see bi weekly that is under BCBS, which is my main medical expense at this time. I am a server and make around 30-35k annually and currently live at home with my parents. My parents currently have insurance under Aetna.

I am would love any advice on how/which plans to pick, especially since I do not have an employer who offers insurance of any kind at this time. Also, any advice for dental as that is what I would use more most likely.

At this time, the site seems to think a Silver plan would be the more money saving option?

Thank you!
