I'm trying to get a minor surgery that is for someting a bit under the skin and honestly would take about 30 mins to do (but hey I'm no doctor).

The part of the doctor's office that deals with insurance keeps giving me the runaround and they are saying my primary insurance wont cover it (it's my mom's insurance from her work I an trying to get off of since I used it once for an emergency situation) and my secondary won't either, which was medicaid.

But after several phone calls, even with one the dr's insurance person was in with me AND medicaid, medicaid said that if that primary denies then medicaid is supposed to cover. They gave her the billing number to call.

Then after that, the dr's insurance person was STILL saying that the insurance was denying and to reschedule the appointment. I told her no, since I've already had to reschedule the surgery with different doctors twice now and I already have the time off for the surgery. It became 3 times when I got to the hospital at the time I was supposed to appear at the hospital, only to learn it was cancelled with no reason listed. I also learned that the primary health care that the dr's insurance said was denying never got a call for any authorization in the first place.

Now with my surgery forcibly being rescheduled, I haven't received any word back as to when my surgery is or about any authorization updates like they said they would give. All I have is the hospital I'm supposed to go to. I have no idea where else to go from here and I just want this surgery done as soon as possible. They brought up all this insurance stuff last minute and it's infuriating me to no end. I would go somewhere else, but I need this minor surgery done asap and I don't know a surgeon that could see me right away. If anyone has any insight, that would be excellent because this situation is entirely new to me.
