Went to a new primary care physician for the first time. I met the doctor and we talked for about 5 minutes. She scheduled me for a physical a month later. Canceled that appointment after recieving a bill in the mail for $337 for that first intital visit. I have insurance through my job and paid $25 for that first visit. I called my insurance. They state the bill was because the clinic put in my birthday wrong. I called the clinic they admitted to the mistake, fixed it an resubmitted the claim. A month later I get the same bill, this time it says I have to pay $337 because the clinic charged that 5 min consulation as "medicine", and that it doesn't match what I was seen for. I never recieved any medicine, I just met the doctor and was asked general questions about my health.

I'm overwhelmed and hopeless. I don't know what to do. My insurance took over an hour to answer the phone last time I called. The clinic goes straight to voicemail, whenever I try to reach out to them. I'm so overwhelmed, any help would be much appreciated.
