$1,000 deductible met, but only $190 toward OOP met, BCBS IL – how is that possible?

I have the weirdest thing going on, but I don’t want to call Blue Cross and rock the boat (plus they are difficult to get ahold of).

Around mid-January, my amount toward deductible suddenly showed $810. At the time, I had not had anything done at all for the year. There were no new claims, no updated past claims that I could see and nothing with a paid date in 2023. I did have surgery last November, and some of the testing and follow-ups lasted into the 2nd week of December. In 2022 I met mt deductible and OOP max. I regularly log in to make sure there aren’t any oddball late claims coming in – I like to make sure and watch that I don’t owe anyone and didn’t get a bill, that way I can contact them if nothing shows up.

Recently I had a CT and some bloodwork done, and all of that (plus the radiology reading) has come through. It now shows my deductible is met ($190 of some of this went toward deductible). The OOP max only shows $190 toward it. How is that possible? What could cause this?

TL;DR My spending shows $1,000 deductible met but only $190 toward OOP max – how is that possible?
