Installation is ClickTight lovely. While my car was being serviced, I had a loaner with typical Tesla “leather” bench seats that are as slippery as a banana on a linoleum floor. I only had to pull the seat belt a smidge tighter and Slim was rock-the-car solid. There’s nothing like a ClickTight installation! Ahhhh.

It’s rear-facing in the middle here between an Evenflo Revolve360 Slim and an UPPAbaby Aria:

And back in my car with captain’s chairs:

LATCH Weight Limits:

Rear-facing LATCH weight limit: 40 lbs.
Forward-facing LATCH weight limit: 40 lbs.

Center LATCH Installations with Non-Standard Spacing:

Britax only allows center LATCH installation with the One4Life Slim if the vehicle manufacturer designates it as a LATCH position.

Overhang:

Britax allows the base of the One4Life Slim to hang over the front edge of the vehicle seat by up to 3″ when it’s used in harness mode. Side overhang is not allowed. When it’s in booster mode, though, no overhang is allowed and the entire base of the car seat must be on the vehicle seat.

Inflatable Seat Belts:

Britax does NOT allow the use of any inflatable seat belt when installing one of their ClickTight convertible or all-in-one carseats.

Forward-Angled Vehicle Head Restraints:

Britax does NOT allow the vehicle head restraint to press against the carseat’s headrest in a manner that it will push it forward. If you can’t remove your vehicle’s head restraint and it will interfere with the forward-facing installation (always install forward-facing to double-check, even if your child is currently rear-facing), this may not be the carseat for you.

One4Life Slim ClickTight vs. One4Life ClickTight Original Comparison

For those of you who are thinking that the Sea Foam fashion is similar to the Graco Extend2Fit Spire fashion, you’re close. I have both so I took a side-by-side and the Sea Foam has a little more blue to it.

The harness feels a little smoother than the original One4Life, but we’ll be able to tell more once we get live models in the seat (full One4Life Slim review coming soon!).

The Britax One4Life Slim is available now for $399.99.

These are some of the narrowest carseats on the market right now. My Diono seat is a few years old, but not expired yet. I’ll list them and their widths below.
