Reyi Portable Children Car Seat, Foldable Baby Safety Seat with Isofix Latch For Infant Kids 1~12 Years Old

The Issue

Health Canada has determined that the use of Reyi Portable Children Car Seat in a motor vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision. These products have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations and do not display Transport Canada’s National Safety Mark.

The use of these restraints in a motor vehicle would be considered illegal under provincial and territorial highway regulations. Immediately discontinue use.

As of June 15, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to this product in Canada. This recall involves Reyi Portable Children Car Seat, Foldable Baby Safety Seat with Isofix Latch For Infant Kids 1~12 Years Old. It was sold online at temu.com. Unfortunately, this does not surprise us as we’ve seen a rise in counterfeit car seats from some online retailers, but we are pleased to see Health Canada do something about it.
