Hospital has no record of some of my ER Claims.

Hello, I'm from MN. I went to the ER late November. There was a total of 8 claims. Ambulance, ER, scans, etc. The claims were being finalized at different times. I was advised to start a payment plan, and call to add the other claims as they are finalized. The final two claims were taking a long time. They were eventually denied; they required preauthorization, which is fine, I just want to get everything done. When I called they couldn't locate the final two claims. The weird thing is, when I log into my payment portal, it says two claims awaiting response from insurance; it was denied 4 days ago. I called my insurance and they confirmed that those two claims were submitted and denied. I called hospital billing back, and they told me the claims don't exist in their system. Which is weird, because it says two claims awaiting response from insurance in my payment portal. I'm a very high strung person, and I'm freaking out. I don't care I owe more money, it's the unknown aspect of the situation that's freaking me out. I like to be on top of my finances, and my main concern is that it will somehow go into collections, and my credit score and financial life will and ruined from something that is out of my control.
