ACA Minimum and Not Qualified for Medicaid

Ok, so I got divorced after 27 years of marriage in 2024. I was on his insurance. I had to go to the marketplace for my insurance after the divorce. I overestimated my income to meet the ACA minimum, and I'm in a state that did not expand Medicaid. I do not qualify for Medicaid in my state because it counts spousal support as income, but the ACA doesn't. I have five years spousal support. I had to overestimate my income by a few thousand dollars (not counting spousal support) to qualify for the ACA. If I didn't, I would have no insurance, and I have an illness. My state also has work requirements for medicaid, and I don't always work enough hours per week to qualify.

Now it is time to file taxes and I am freaking out. I won't qualify for the ACA because I didn't make enough income. Will they cancel my insurance? Make me pay back the subsidy?

So, theoretically what if someone claims to make a few thousand more than they did on their taxes (maybe under miscellaneous income?) to reach the minimum income level to qualify for the ACA? They would pay extra in taxes but it would be better than having no insurance. Do they automatically cancel the subsidy if you don't make the minimum? Thank you for reading and for any help!
