The Issue
Columbus Trading-Partners USA, Inc. (CTP) is recalling certain Cybex Aton G, Aton G SensorSafe, Aton G Swivel, Aton G Swivel SensorSafe, Eos and Aton G Swivel Travel System, Eos and Aton G Travel System, Libelle and Aton G Travel System, and Beezy and Aton G Travel System child seats. The harness hip anchorage retention hooks may bend, causing the anchor pin to loosen, and the harness strap to detach.

(CTP) is recalling certain Cybex Aton G, Aton G SensorSafe, Aton G Swivel, Aton G Swivel SensorSafe, Eos and Aton G Swivel Travel System, Eos and Aton G Travel System, Libelle and Aton G Travel System, and Beezy and Aton G Travel System child seats. Remedy
CTP will mail owners a remedy kit and installation instructions, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 4, 2025. Owners may contact CTP customer service at 877-242-5676.

The Remedy
Read the full text of the recall remedy provided by Cybex.
Cybex will provide all owners of affected Aton G and Aton G Swivel CRS manufactured between February 20, 2023 and May 10, 2024, with a free remedy kit on or about April 4, 2025. This kit includes a device that locks the harness and the harness anchor pin in place, even if the harness anchor retention hooks are bent, along with instructions on how to install the device.
While waiting for the remedy kit, caregivers can continue to use the Aton G and Aton G Swivel infant car seats if they follow these steps:
Before each use, check the harness anchor retention hooks for any damage.If any hooks are bent away from the harness anchor pin, do not use the seat and contact Cybex immediately for assistance.
