Need help with repatriation and medical evacuation insurance!

I’ll be visiting the US for a year as a J1 scholar at a university. But I’m struggling to find the right insurance option for me. Help!

I was told the insurance should cover repatriation and medical evacuation and that Travelex and Betins cover these. But I can’t seem to find reviews on these. The last thing I want is signing up for a crappy insurance or having to deal with the hassles of a crappy insurance (naive much? 🤷). Can anyone share their experiences with Travelex and Betins?

I’m also slightly confused too because in addition to specifying the two companies above cover all that’s needed, my school provided the following insurance as options:

• Visit Insurance

• BETiNS International Health and Travel

• ISO Insurance

• iNext International Insurance

• Cultural Insurance Services International

• HTH Worldwide

• Insubuy.

• PGH Global

• GeoBlue

I’m not sure if these cover repatriation and medical evacuation though. Does anybody have experience signing up with any of these as J1?
