Less than two hours to solidify choice

My employer has crappy insurance. It is SANA. It’s kind of like a McApp. I have my 21 year-old daughter on this; she is still in college.

My 2024 option will almost double my premium for 2025. I am split between my current plan which will jump from 380 a month to 517 a month, or dropping to a lower plan which will be 260 a month.

Options:

A= 517/month w/1000 deductible each & 2000 family W/7500 OOP each & 15,000 family 70% coinsurance provided after deductible met

B=262/month w/4000 deductible each & 8000 family w/9100 OOP each & 18,200 family 50% coinsurance provided after deductible met

Child (21yrs) has ongoing mental health meds

Me (60yrs) with identified heart aneurysm and on high blood pressure medication

No diabetes or other chronic conditions.

My monthly will increase 137/mo to maintain current 2024 benefits for 2025 per option A.

My monthly will decrease 119/mo to drop to lower option B plan.

I have 90 minutes left to lock in my 2025 plan. I’m not an idiot but I’m totally flummoxed this year. Btw, I don’t own a gun…. Haha not.
