I suspect a doctor made false assumptions that ultimately got me denied on a new application.

Not sure if this is the place to post, but I am utterly dumbfounded right now. I have one life insurance policy already and a few months back decided to apply for another with a greater amount since I could afford it. Well, earlier this month I got a call from my agent saying I was denied, and I'd receive why in the mail. Got it today. For a little over a year, I had been seeing an APRN for ADHD. We've talked about my history of anxiety and depression when I was younger but haven't had issues with either for a while. Apparently, I was denied because my prescription history, suicidal behavior, PTSD, depression with a history of suicidal behavior, and nervous disorder. My prescription history literally consists of antidepressants nearly 20 years ago and for a couple of months when I had PPD, medication that was given to me after major surgeries that I took for a couple days if that and moved on to Tylenol, and a thyroid medication for an issue that I ended up being misdiagnosed with. I've never been suicidal, nor have I ever attempted it. I requested the consumer report to see exactly what she said because as of now, I'm trying to figure out why the hell any of that was even mentioned. And in our entire professional relationship, we didn't even talk about it outside of the basic questions that are asked in the beginning.

I feel like she made false assumptions that are now screwing me out of a better life insurance policy and I'm not sure what I can do from here aside from waiting for that report and/or contacting her to see why she said these things. And no, she hasn't been my doctor for a few months now, but that was only because she isn't licensed in my state (KY) to prescribe Adderall.
