Concern about hernia surgery disclosure on 30Y term life insurance policy.

I'm freaking out a bit and could use some advice. I'm a 24-year-old guy living in Canada, and I just got approved for a 30-year term life insurance policy in September. I've made two payments so far, and everything seemed great.

But then, last week, I had a total brain fart moment – I realized I forgot to tell my broker about my hernia surgery back in 2018 (done in my home country). I know, I know, it's a pretty important detail!

Now I'm worried:

Can my insurance company deny claims if something happens to me because I didn't disclose the surgery? Should I come clean to my broker ASAP, and what's the worst that could happen? Is hernia surgery considered a high-risk or material fact for insurance purposes?

Here are my policy details:

30-year term life insurance Approved in September Two payments made No other pre-existing conditions

I'm planning to call my broker tomorrow, but I'd love to hear from anyone who's been in a similar situation or has expertise in this area.
