He brings 25 years of expertise in platform delivery and data management to the firm

Lockton Re has appointed Srikanta Nandy (pictured above) as its chief platform officer, based in New York. With 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Nandy brings deep expertise in global platform delivery, enterprise data management, and placement data analytics.

The company said that his appointment comes as part of its continued efforts to enhance its platform capabilities.

Prior to joining Lockton Re, Nandy served as senior vice president at Marsh Global Analytics, where he worked for over eight years. In his role at Marsh, Nandy was involved in various data-driven initiatives, including placement and billing data analytics, re-engineering the Market Connect platform, and developing a big data lake using AWS to support business intelligence tools and data scientists. His work focused on providing insights from Marsh’s global placement and policy data to enhance operational efficiencies and carrier performance.

Before Marsh, Nandy held several key roles at other organizations. He spent three years as vice president of Marsh Global Analytics, where he led the development and implementation of a global placement data capture system across multiple countries.

Nandy also worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as an account director, managing a portfolio of $48 million for a large property and casualty insurer. He was responsible for overseeing personal insurance, claims, and international lines.

At Infosys, where he spent more than a decade, Nandy held multiple positions, including senior project manager and engagement manager. During his time at the company, he led projects focused on policy management systems, business transformation initiatives, and the development of client-facing platforms. He also managed teams across onsite and offshore locations to deliver client programs.

Nandy’s career also includes experience as a client relationship manager at Aon and as a PGET at Larsen & Toubro Limited.

With his extensive background, Nandy is expected to play a pivotal role in driving Lockton Re’s platform strategy and enhancing the company’s ability to deliver innovative solutions for its clients.
