Need help deciding HSA vs PPO for newborn and wife

Hi All,

Wife and I are expecting a newborn soon and I'm trying to decide what's the best option for health insurance. Both my wife and I currently have separate insurance with our employers. See below for details.

Myself (HSA)

Yearly Contribution: $520.32 (Single) / $1,328.16 (Plus dependent) / $1,996.80 (Family)

Deductible: $2,100 (Single) / $4,200 (Plus dependent) / $4,200 (Family)

OOP Max: $5,500 (Single) / $11,000 (Plus dependent) / $11,000 (Family) *No more than $5,500 per person

Employer contribution to HSA: $600 (Single) / $800 (Plus dependent) / $1,200 (Family)

Wife (PPO)

Yearly Contribution: $2,252.88 (Single) / $4,828.20 (Plus Dependent)

Deductible: $ 250 (Single) / $500 (Plus dependent)

OOP Max: $4,400 (Single) / $13,200 (Plus dependent)

Seeing the numbers, I think it's clear that both my wife and newborn should be on my HSA plan, correct? Or should my wife stay on her own PPO plan? Thanks for your help/input in advance 🙂
