Trying to choose vision insurance

I have a new employer which means new plan options. I just started a week ago, and my benefits start from day one so I'm selecting insurance now. I'm struggling with figuring out the best way to go. In the past I had the highest tier of Eyemed. With my current job, I have the choice between VSP or Davis Vision. If you have any experience with those two plans, I would love to hear from you!

Some background:

Medically, I had idiopathic inner cranial hypertension about 5 years ago that was caught originally at an annual exam, so good exam coverage is a must. Both new options seem fine in that regard, if a bit limiting on their providers. I'm looking at My eyes, America's Best, Vision works, target, Costco, and pearle vision.

As for prescription- I'm nearsighted with an astigmatism in both eyes. My "strength" is fairly low (cyc -1.00 and -2.00 in respective eyes) as of 2023, so single vision polycarbonate is what I've gone with in the past. I'm not so worried about frame benefits as I usually buy the frame at Zenni (much cuter options), then get those lensed in network.

Here's the thing- I like the good shit re:lens options. I mean highest level coatings, transitions that work in the car, blue light filter cause I work at a computer. All of the bells and whistles. With Eyemed, I'm used to walking out of LensCrafters having paid next to nothing for all the extras. With the new insurance options, I can't even tell how much I'm looking at but neither of them are next to nothing. I'm guessing over $100 minimum.

I can choose between those two employer provided vision plans or I think I can get Eyemed on my own. If you were me, what would you do?
