Told NYS insurance wrong date to end plan and now have huge medical bill

Last year I had septum surgery in November in New York State and then moved out of state in December. The insurance automatically re-enrolled for 2024, even though I didn’t sign up for it, then moved back on NYS in June and started insurance again. I had an insurance bill for those 6 months so I called to request that they revert it back to when I moved out of state. However, I was an idiot and for some reason said October is when I moved out – idk why but it was a mistake.

Now I got a bill from that insurance company for all the procedures and appointments in November, and of course none of it is covered because they adjusted my insured period to only October.

What can I do? Will it be possible to have them adjust it again to end in December. It was really hard to have them change it the first time so I’m worried that I now have 10k in medical costs.

I’m self employed so this was a marketplace insurance with Fidelis through NYS
