Harry Titherley joins Global Parametrics as Business Development Director

Global Parametrics, a CelsiusPro Group company, has announced the appointment of Harry Titherley from reinsurance broker Gallagher Re as Business Development Director.

According to Global Parametrics, Titherley has a strong track record in originating, designing, and placing parametric schemes for various lines of business, covering perils such as weather and natural catastrophes.

At Gallagher Re, he developed the broker’s treaty re/insurance portfolio and drove growth initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean as Divisional Director.

Before this, Titherley was at MNK Re Limited, where he chiefly served as Head of Innovation. He has also previously worked at Aon, namely as Head of Casualty and Financial Lines Latin America Treaty.

Commenting on his new role at Global Paramtrics, Titherley said, “I am very much looking forward to driving the adoption of parametric reinsurance solutions to further build resilience against the financial impact of natural catastrophes and climate change, and to close the protection gap.”
