AMC Insurance Services has successfully acquired Vancouver-based Western Associated Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed sum.

A family-owned business with a strong legacy spanning two generations, Western Associated Insurance Brokers brings an established customer base and deep community ties to AMC Insurance.

In its announcement, AMC said: “This acquisition is a significant milestone for AMC; by integrating Western Associated Insurance Brokers, AMC not only reinforces its presence but also expands its services into the vibrant Vancouver market.

“This strategic expansion supports the company’s long-term vision of expanding its reach to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions to a wider client base.”

Brad McNeill, who previously owned Western Associated Insurance Brokers, has chosen to retire. The existing team will join AMC, ensuring a smooth transition and continued client service.

The company added: “We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and remain committed to delivering the highest standards of service and reliability… AMC Insurance Services is poised for a dynamic future, marked by strategic growth, client satisfaction, and a steadfast commitment to excellence in the insurance industry.

“[We are] committed to fostering growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions across Canada. We extend our gratitude to our partners, employees, and stakeholders for their continued support throughout this venture.”
