Insurance Business Asia has unveiled its list of the top insurance companies to work for in 2024, shedding light on industry leaders amid evolving employee priorities across the region.

According to data from the publication, the willingness of employees to switch jobs has surged by 179% compared to last year.

This comes alongside a notable decline in retention, with only about one-third of respondents indicating they would aim to remain with their current employer – a stark contrast to 2023 when 76% expressed no intention to leave their jobs.

Selection process for Insurance Business Asia Top Insurance Employers 2024

To determine which companies made the list, Insurance Business Asia invited firms from across the region to submit information regarding their employment practices, including benefits, workplace culture, and employee development programs.

Following this, employees from the nominated companies were asked to anonymously rate their employers on a scale from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent), evaluating factors such as compensation, career growth opportunities, and the company’s efforts toward diversity and inclusion.

Companies were required to meet a minimum response rate from their employees, based on the size of the workforce, to be considered.

Organisations achieving a 75% or higher overall satisfaction score from employees were recognised as Top Insurance Employers for 2024.
