My college provided insurance is expiring, not sure where to go from here. medi-cal vs my fathers insurance?

Hi! (In CA) I f22 graduated a UC school in June and had a full scholarship for their ucship health insurance program that was pretty much a high coverage anthem blue cross/shield. If you're graduating your insurance extends till september 20th. Well sept 20th is coming up and I'm not sure what option would be better for me. I could go back on my dads kinda shitty blue cross insurance where the deductibles and copays are very high, but it's a ppo and i regularly currently see a psychiatrist and a therapist and I feel like with a ppo there's more flexibility? He also would pay for the monthly cost of the insurance through his work, just not the out of pocket deductible or copays.

or I could apply for medi-cal where it would be free? not sure? as I barely make enough money to pay my rent. I'm scared that my access to psychiatrists & therapists would be limited and I'm scared that once my insurance expires late September I'll have to wait weeks or months for prescription refills or finding a new therapist.

Regardless of which insurance I'd chose I'd have to get a new psychiatrist & therapist because ucship only serves in network uc students. My dad will not help cover costs of deductible or copays as I am financially independent of my family (it's shitty). I feel like it might? be way easier to get treatment through my dads ppo insurance but it'd be expensive for me whereas medi-cal would be completely free, but I'td be a huge waiting game? I'm not sure what to do any advice is appreciated.
