Insurance for non citizen in Georgia?

So I have been with my partner for 6 years and we are both residents of Georgia. I put them on my health insurance plan at work a few years ago after we got married, and thankfully I did just in time.

They went for a health check up since they hadn’t been in years and was soon after diagnosed with end stage renal disease at only 31 years old and had to start dialysis soon after. Fast forward a few years later and now we received a successful kidney transplant and are seen in Atlanta for the current anti rejection treatment that he requires.

The only problem is I am miserable at my current job..and would like to do something else but I am terrified of getting another job and going to a company where there may be an issue with putting him on my insurance using an ITIN. I really would like to be a flight attendant through Delta or Southwest. Does anyone know (if hired) that I could put him on my health insurance using an ITIN in place of an SSN? If not, is there a back up insurance company that he may qualify to sign up for come enrollment time that I could put him on?

We are currently going through the process to get his citizenship the process has been long and tedious. I really don’t want to have to be limited and stuck at this job for the next 3 years…
