Medicaid Help FL

I have been on Medicaid (in Florida) for about 4 years, while I am waiting for my disability to be approved… On June 1st they closed my medical insurance because they sent me a financial release form to sign in May and I never turned it in on time… Even though I was not even did for a renewal until SEPTEMBER mind you. Also I did not get the mail because the address I have on file for mailing never told me I had any mail come through…

So I called (June 7th) when I realized my insurance didn't go through that day at my doctor's and the 1st representative I spoke with told me if I got it in by June 9th (2 days) I would get a decision in 5 business days and they would just resend my application. I got it turned in that day, 30 mins after I hung up with her..

Long story short. I still have no Medicaid yet. They deemed me disabled 4 years ago when they gave Medicaid , and now they're making me jump through hoops to get it back. Meanwhile I can't go see my doctor's , or get my medication I need on a daily basis, I also had to reschedule my surgery… And I think I may have to reschedule it again because I still am without medical insurance 😭

Like I said I'm disabled waiting on approval, but 4 years ago I was deemed disabled and able for Medicaid..

Does anyone have any suggestions to help me?

Last month I called every day they were open,and spoke to SO MANY reps, and each one told me something different! At one time they had my name mixed up with someone else's!!!!!

Oh I also forgot to mention on Friday I called my Case worked (?) I had no idea I could even call her!!!! I am waiting for her to call me back, I left a voicemail.

If you're wondering, my disabilities are Chairi malformation, syringomyelia, Hidradenitis suppurativa, bipolar, anxiety, depression… Tia!
