Stuck without Health Insurance (i need help)

I recently turned 26 at the end of july, which meant i was no longer able to be on my parents health insurance. So naturally i turned to my job to see what they had to offer. They had two options, one for part-time employees (variable hour employees) and another for full-time (30 or more hours a week) employees.

Currently i work somewhere between 36-40 hours depending on the week.

When i went to go apply for their health insurance (i started this process at the end of june with contacting people and setting this up for when i had my birthday) i logged into my account and only the part time employee insurance was available.

the part time insurance is extremely sucky and you have to reach a $4000 deductible before they cover anything and the only cover 50% once the deductible is reached.

Once i realized this i went back and forth and was sent through several loops with people who couldn’t give me answers or told me that the full time employee benefits were only for those with positions higher than me. They consider me “part time” in the system because my hours always change even tho i never go under 36 hours each week. So naturally, because the high deductible plan was not good, i turned to the healthcare.gov site to search their market place.

Within making my health care account, there’s a portion where i fill out how my job is not offering proper benefits, which then leads to the government giving me a tax credit to apply to my monthly payments to afford more quality healthcare.

Then I get informed that i actually might qualify for the full time benefits through my job…

Which if i am, i cannot claim the tax credit given by the government, and anything decent on the market place would become too expensive without it.

So it’s is now a week into August, my parents insurance for me ended on July 31st, and i still have no answers from my employer if i qualify for the full time employee health benefits or not, so i am now left completely uninsured.

I am at a complete loss and new to all of this. The last update i received was them confirming that even once they figure out the coverage, i will still be without insurance until September 1st.
