Employer refusing to show me insurance information

So basically the title, but more specifically they are refusing to show me until my 90 day probation is up. I've been working here for 3 weeks.

The thing is, my previous job didn't cover certain things so I was paying out of pocket for a few things. There is a surgery I need that is not always covered for some places. So I am asking to see the specifics so I can determine if I need more insurance or if I need to find a new employer.

I spoke to the person who I was told to reach out to and he said I have to wait 90 days for the info. I told him I know I can't receive it yet but I need specifics on what exactly is covered. He said "I think basics like medical, dental & vision" that literally tells me nothing. So I reached out to his supervisor, and instead I got a response from the other guy saying "per our previous conversation.. "

They said because it is based on income, which is fair but you can't show me an example? Or an estimate? Or like this is minimum and maximum that we cover? I've asked coworkers many of them don't have the insurance or are with the company(I came through a staffing agency)

I responded and put my foot down about the situation (professionally)

Am I asking too much or something?
