Starting a new job and here are the 2 plans under consideration:

PPO Plan — $750 deductible, premium is $15 deducted per bi-monthly paycheck. Preventative care, immunizations, office visits, diagnostic tests – x-ray & bloodwork, emergency and urgent care visits all are covered (besides respective co-pay) before deductible.

HDHP HSA — $2k deductible, no premium cost to me, company contributes $600 annually to HSA. Only preventative care and immunizations are covered before the deductible. 20% co-insurance.

I’m 33 and have had a few health blips but nothing major. I value peace of mind but I’m also aware HSA’s are the best “deal” tax wise to invest in. Feeling very torn as I’ve always only had 5k deductible plans or higher available to me, so to be able to have a plan like the PPO is definitely enticing. However, the HSA plan here is also better than any insurance I’ve ever had. Thank you in advance for any and all advice.
