DKI Canada Announces New Ownership of DKI – Al-Care

HAMILTON, ON, JULY 10, 2024/insPRESS/ – DKI Canada is excited to announce a change in ownership for our Member DKI – Al-Care. Effective immediately, Nathan Hughes has assumed the role of owner. This change follows the successful acquisition of the company from its original founder, Jeff Heidbuurt.

“Jeff has been a shining example of a strong, kind leader and I’m excited to carry that torch, build on the foundation he laid, and continue growing the company,” said Nathan Hughes. “DKI is such a strong group, and I’m happy to be an owner and to have more contact with other DKI Members moving forward.”

“Nathan has been part of the DKI family for years. We’re thrilled to have him continue Jeff’s legacy of providing exceptional and prompt service to hundreds of home and business owners,” said Chris Schmidt, CEO of DKI Canada.

Nathan first joined DKI – Al-Care 17 years ago as a Water Technician. Over the years, he transitioned to roles such as PMA and Project Manager, more recently becoming a Managing Partner and now Owner.

DKI – Al-Care is a comprehensive property restoration company servicing Hamilton, Halton, and the surrounding areas, specializing in both residential and commercial property losses resulting from water, fire, smoke, wind, vandalism, trauma, mould damage and more.
