Aeolus hires Bhatia from J.P. Morgan to Business Development & IR role
Aeolus Capital Management Ltd., the reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment fund manager, has announced the hiring of Dia Bhatia from investment bank J.P. Morgan, who joins the firm as an Associate in its Business Development and Investor Relations team.
Bhatia will be based in New York for Aeolus Capital Management.
Her new role at the company will see her focusing on investor reporting, technical support, marketing materials, and capital raising efforts.
The company said in a Linkedin announcement, “Aeolus Capital Management is delighted to announce that Dia Bhatia has joined our Business Development & Investor Relations Team.”
Before joining the specialist ILS investment manager, Bhatia worked as an Investment Specialist Associate at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, covering the short-term fixed income and liquid strategies asset classes.
She began her career working as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank, working in a position that supported a sales and trading desk on a range of interest rate derivatives and fixed income products.
Last month, Aeolus announced the hiring of William Thuell to its Bermuda underwriting team as an Assistant Vice President.
