I'm torn between my domestic partner and my parents.

For context, I have a partner (M/41) who has a condition. Post KT patient. He's employed and earning, but monthly medicine maintenance would be about 20k and no HMO. We have a toddler na naka nappies and milk pa and a college freshie. Now, my parents nanay (64) and tatay (62) while relatively young, may mga nararamdaman na din sa katawan.

All throughout my career parents and kids were enrolled in my HMO as dependents. Premiums are deducted sa salary. Hindi kasama before si partner due to hierarchy requirement. Since single ang status ko, parents, siblings and kids can be covered.

Just recently, our company allowed the domestic partners to be enrolled. So I did include my betterhalf. It was not cleared during cascade that if we include the partners, they will be considered as husband/wife. In effect, parents would be removed.

Now, I am torn of who to let go. Practically speaking, it is better to include my partner because of his condition. But parents need it too.

I just want to get your thoughts.
