ARAG takes part in Dragon Boat Race to raise funds for Bristol Law Centre

Authored by ARAG

ARAG UK took to the water on Sunday (June 16th) as they participated in the Bristol Dragon Boat Race at Baltic Wharf.

Joining forces with their chosen charity, the Bristol Law Centre, members from both organisations came together to compete against other rowers in the annual event hosted by the Rotary Club.

We were also joined by our new colleagues at DAS, who are now part of the ARAG Group.

The support and organisation that went into the race demonstrates ARAG’s support for the local community, with hundreds of pounds raised for the Bristol Law Centre, who aim to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Bristol and across the South West through providing access to justice.

It comes as part of the company’s wider commitment to fundraising, with ARAG taking part in various events throughout each year to raise not only raise funds, but awareness for their chosen charities.

The Boat Race was also a huge success, and whilst the weather was on our side, colleagues and family arrived in their numbers to support from dry land, with a BBQ and refreshments for all to enjoy.

None of this would have been possible without the hard yards put in by our team members, whether this was taking part on the water or organising the gazebo and BBQ!
