getting health insurance while living with parents

i'm 18, i live in michigan, and my estimated monthly gross income is $1,456.

to preface this, i have no idea what i'm doing. this is all very new to me so apologies if i got any details wrong or if it seems like im out of touch at all.

i have had a few health concerns, physical and mental, that have gone unaddressed for years now because my parents have avoided taking me to the doctor's, partially because they don't have health insurance and they don't want to pay out-of-pocket for it and partially because they don't like doctors, i guess.

i recently turned 18 and i just got my license and car a few days ago, and so i'm now able to schedule and take myself to appointments. however, it's very very expensive out of pocket! and i will more than likely need more than one visit to address my stuff.

i've tried looking into insurance plans online and it looks like there's nothing really available for people who aren't the head of their household/who are claimed as dependents on taxes.

do i have to wait until i'm moved out to get health insurance?

i don't really know if its worth it to even try to address my health issues if it's gonna be as expensive as im told it is without insurance
