Hi all,

I am getting insurance through my job for the first time, and I have no idea which plan to pick. I am 28F living in California. I just moved states, so I am going to have to get all new providers. I don't have many medical problems, just want to stay up to date on my check-ups, and I do need a primary care to manage a couple prescriptions I get regularly. I just started my first job after graduate school, and have a lot of student loans to pay off, so I am trying to save money. Income is 125k/year.

The 3 options I think that are best are the following:

Consumer HRA Plan Health Saver with HSA Plan Standard Plan Cost per pay period $10 $33.10 $85.33 Estimated Annual Cost $1508 $4,860 $3268 Total Plan Cost $4,665.48 $3,271.20 $9,156.72 Deductible $2,000 $3,350 $450 Deductible Type Embedded Aggregate Embedded OOPM $6,600 $6,600 $6,600 Retail Pharmacy Benefits $35 per prescription; Out-of-network Retail not covered $35 after deductible; Out-of-network Retail not covered $35 per prescription; Out-of-network Retail not covered Primary Care Office Visit Plan pays 80%, after deductible; Out-of-network Plan pays 60%, after deductible Plan pays 90%, after deductible; Out-of-network Plan pays 60%, after deductible $35 per visit; Out-of-network Plan pays 60%, after deductible Mental Health Outpatient Plan pays 90%, after deductible; Out-of- network Plan pays 60%, after deductible Plan pays 100%; after deductible; Out-of- network Plan pays 60%, after deductible Plan pays 90%, after deductible; Out-of- network Plan pays 60%, after deductible

I am leaning towards the cheapest plan, the consumer HRA plan, as PCP and mental health benefits are almost the same, and prescription costs are the same across plans. I am hesitant to take the HSA one as prescriptions are only covered after you meet the deductible. Any advice is greatly appreciated though! Let me know if more information is needed, I just put down the things I thought were relevant.
